The school was started in a rented building. It was shifted to the existing aesthetically and ergonomically designed building complex whose land is donated by an entrepreneur Sardar Harbans Singh in the cherished memory of his late wife Mahinder Kaur. DAV Public School, Daltonganj with a student resilience of 4000 approx, disseminated over an area of 4.11 acres in two wings, stands in the vanguard of quality and value added education in the region.
